Introduction

Media School is an exclusive learning center where students prepare themselves academically and practically to meet the challenges and opportunity of the 21st century in the media sector. Media School, established in 2010, is a unique institution in the field of Mass Communication and Journalism (JMC) in Nepal. It is established with a broad vision of producing capable human resources both academically and professionally which we believe to be supportive to professional development of Nepali journalism and mass communication sector. The organization is founded by a group of working journalists from different media houses and academic institutions. Media School is a pool of professionals dedicated to the mission of nurturing journalism and mass communication in Nepal.

The promoting team of Media School consists of academicians, researchers, entrepreneurs and professionals in considerably renowned both at home and outside. We are running School Journalism course, Basic Journalism course, Foundation Journalism course and Advanced Journalism course, Broadcasting Journalism, and different media Trainings. Photography & Photojournalism, VJ including Documentary Making, Ad-Promo and Research are also few other programs which are planned to be conducted.

To achieve the goal, we have planned to give academic trainings for college students of every discipline. Academically, we want to be the mediator for being a part of the internship taker to provide practical knowledge of every course of Journalism & Mass-communication.

Through a creative and hands-on course structure, students get exposure to rigorous practical skills and theoretical insight as they learn from the media professionals, expert and academics. We offer quality education on affordable price. We aim at developing skills and capability of our students to relate their classroom knowledge with practical day-to-day experience and achieve maximum potential to be able to explore their career in the media sector.

Our main objective is to enable our students to pursue their study differently, research brilliantly, interact sufficiently and enhance the multicultural knowledge. We ensure high-quality learning environment toward the success of our students. Our highly dedicated, experienced and efficient teaching faculties are extremely conscious about their duties and responsibilities. Besides our effective classroom teachings, we lead our academic mission by organizing regular seminars, paper presentations, constant observation and regular monitoring.
